Off to Adelaide and the Subversive Clay Conference

Am giving a paper on Sunday 2 September entitled Is That All There Is? in which I ask:
Should we expect more from an exhibition of ceramics than just the presentation of crafted objects?

I'll be making observations about a range of ceramic-based exhibitions over the last six months in Melbourne. Am looking forward to catching up with fellow panel members  Anna Maas, Fleur Schell and meeting our final panel member Leslie Ferrin, USA.

Pudding Bowls now selling at CRAFT retail

Autumn is officially chilly!

Time for warming desserts. Try a berry crumble in one of my pudding bowls. Overproof and hand-comfy.

Easy Peasy Crumble Recipe

• Hand-full of berries into 2 pudding bowls
• Rub 50 grams of cold butter into 1 tablespoon each of oats, brown sugar, coconut, crushed nuts of choice, nice flour, favourite spice (nutmeg, cinnamon, five spice)
• Put into moderate oven for 15 minutes
