TEXTILE RESEARCH - COVID-19 QUILT WORK

Materials: Australian manufactured pure woolen blanket, severely moth-eaten, cotton thread repair and chain stitch.

The @covid19quilt is an online global quilt project started by artists Kate Just and Tal Fitzpatrick to gather, narrate and share experiences of Covid-19 via craft. It builds on both artists’ history of creating socially-engaged textile projects that engage communities in thinking through, and making art about complex social and political issues.
